Good day It is tuesday march 17 at 3 p.m. and we are at the resort where the bar tenders have walked off the job. Apparently they have not been paid and the servers have left also for the same reason. We had to ask for a room change when we arrived because we were supposed To have a lagoon view and only seen garbage. I asked one of the cleaners if we can have extra faced cloths for our rooms because we we're only getting one. She told me that the room's only get one face cloth per day. Excuse me! I want one to wash my body and one to wash my face but my husband doesn't want to wash his face with the same cloth. I made a complaint to the front desk. We still only have one face Cloth in the room 525 This resort is definitely not a four plus I would rate this hotel as a 2.5 or 3 star. Very dissatisfied Sharlene brazil

4 Friends and i Booked 2 weeks holidays in Mexico.Feb 02/24 We all went into Sell Off in Calgary together and booked our trip Valentina. asked if we wanted cancellation insurance .We all said yes .NOW because of my heath problems I can,t go . I phone Valentina over 3 weeks to tell her I can't go . She called me back and said I denied the cancellition insurance ... Which is so wrong . My 4 friends that were sitting there all said they heard me that I wanted it(Always get it )..I talked to her manager . I asked if maybe I could transfer my holidays to a friend . She said she would check into it .She never called me back . Now I phone there NO! Return call or E-Mail I get no response . I.m Out over $2600.00

I booked an excursion and when came time to do it the company providing the tour said they didn't have my info. Called Sell off they were zero help. Had to buy it again.

I purchased a vacation package over the phone,after a few days my credit card was hacked! The thing I did not used somewhere else,just by tapping in one store with a small amount of purchase! All the purchases was made online by the hacker. How come such a secure website can leak information about credit cards?

Overpromised, underdelivered price drop policy

Booked a vacation package with them October 2, with extra travel insurance and two assured that in case theres a price drop, will be refunding the difference minus $50 admin fees, fair and square. Guess what, Black Friday deal comes, $580 difference between what I paid and what is advertised on the website, called CS, submitted a refund request form, and apparently was a few days shy from their dates. See reply bellow. I would strongly suggest anyone travelling, please book with provider directly DO NOT USE travel agencies. Air Transat was the provider and their CS was kind enough to help me with some accommodation, but brace didnt book with them dont have access to my file SoV reply Maria Stewart-Docker (SOVCUSTOMERSERVICE) Nov 16, 2023, 16:38 EST A previous claim was submitted for your booking and the following reply was sent: Your one time Price Drop Security claim has been reviewed. Our records indicate your vacation package was booked on 02 October 2023. As your booking dates are before the specified promotional period, the claim has been denied. I got wrongfully accused and kicked out of the resort I was staying at in 2015. It still bothers me to this day, and my friend and I both got kicked out of the resort (him just by association). Totally unjust and completely ruined my vacation time. I had contacted customer support back then and they were supposed to follow through and help issue me some sort of refund, but then it just never ended up happening. I refuse to let this situation go in scouted for, despite the fact that it was 7 years ago. I am still extremely displeased and havent dealt with selloffvacations or sunwing since. Side note : I just called today and started explaining to an agent and got hung up on (I assume because they cant make commission from me). Completely appalling.

Hello Sell Off Vacations, I was charged for a vacation I had not authorized. The payment went through before I authorized it. I had gone back to confirm the info of the flights. I am not happy. I was not going to book the vacation because of the terrible layover I had just discovered. I would like to be fully refunded. Your system was abusive. I dont even have a booking number. Booked under Chantal Tenorio Roy For February 27-March 5 to ocean Maya Royal. Please get back to me. I am currently on hold calling you and have been for almost an hour now.

False advertising/Bait and Switch

We have attempted on numerous occasions to book with an all inclusive property you have on your website. Its called Golden Parnassus Resort and Spa Cancun. Every date weve attended to book even as soon as it is posted comes up price error and that price is no longer available. I have tried many attempts at many dates as these prices and dates keep coming up on your website. After speaking wit several representatives on the phone they were also confused and told me to contact customer service to find out whats going on and to get this holiday booked. If this is a legitimate property and price and NOT false advertising or a bate and switch ploy then we should be able to book at least one of the dates we have on many attempts tried to book. Please get back to me regarding this all inclusive vacation package as we would like to continue using sell off for our vacation needs. Thank you cstreet@***.ca

Rip Off

Sell Off Vacations is the worst company for customer service. I usually travel 2-3 times per year. Booking through them was the biggest travel mistake I have ever made. The agent misrepresented the service that I was booking and then customer service wouldn't do a thing to help. They do nothing to assist the clients when there are issue's with the carrier. They just want to collect the money and leave you stranded. I would never in a million years book through them again. Speaking to the Customer Service Dept. and the so called Manager of Customer Service was a big let down, offering no assistance. Do youself a favour and use a reputable Travel Agent and Sell Off Vacations is not at all reputable.

Sell Off Vacations is part of the Sunwing Travel Group which also includes Sunwing Airlines which offers discount vacation packages to the Caribbean. As always, you get what you pay for.

There is a litany of complaints about Sunwing Airlines headquartered at 27 Fasken Drive, Toronto, ON M9W 1K6. We were to leave Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, on February 9, 2013 but Sunwing delayed our flight 449 back to Ottawa by 22 hours. We were shunted from the Bavaro Princess Hotel over to the lower-rated Caribe Club Princess and given Tropical Princess wristbands so we could eat and get up at 3:00 AM for a 6:00 AM flight out that did not arrive until 7:00AM. WestJet and Air Canada flew out of Ottawa on February 9, 2013 but not Sunwing.

Again, first and last time with Sunwing or any company associated with them. :(

Don't blame the agent... it is the deceptive tactics this Company has...

always read the hidden small print! they are very good at hiding but always there.. and never never expect refunds... that is a word they do not understand!

Sell Off Vacations Booked our air tickets. It is clear in the Terms and Conditions there is NO baggage charge in our specific flight. We were charged for baggage and upon return contacted Sell Off Vacations. For 4 months Sell Off Vacations customer service said to keep waiting. Well I am tired of waiting. This should have been cleared up in 1 month (that's 4 weeks).

So yes, I would say, I have also been Ripped Off by Sell Off Vacations.

If anyone has any suggestions how to further elevate this complaint, I would appreciate it.

Perhaps, the government airline controlling agency is the way to go.
